He is survived by: his wife Margaret Gossett Chambliss of Milledgeville; his children, Miranda Chambliss Hudson (Michael) of Monticello, John Paul "Jake" Chambliss, Jr. (Ann Marie) of Roswell and Jennifer Lane Chambliss of Milledgeville; his grandchildren, Dylan Hudson and Wyatt Hudson; and his brothers, Ross M. Chambliss, Jr. (Charlotte) of Americus and William "Bill" Chambliss (Sherry) of Sandy Springs. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
