We are sad to announce that on November 12, 2024, at the age of 77, James Oden of Ashdown, Arkansas, born in Crossett, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though James may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Oden and Willie Mae Oden (Kelly); his sister Ida Margaret; and his brother-in-law Elvie Mooty. He is survived by: his wife Betty Oden of Ashdown; and his brothers, John (Pat Oden), Donald (Marje Oden), David Oden of Ashdown and Micheal (Carrie Oden).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Ashdown Memorial Gardens (148 Little River 29, Ashdown, AR 71822).
