He was predeceased by: his wife Roberta Noble Holden; and his siblings, David Holden, Maggie Noble and Elrice Stewart. He is survived by: his children, Troy James Holden of Ft. Morgan, James Holden Jr. (Renita) of Denver, Colorado, Debra Caldwell (Jessie) of Bradley, Laura Caldwell (John Edward) of Lewisville and Dorothy Wortham of Springhill, Louisiana.; his siblings, Will Holden of California, Sylvester Holden (Clydia) of Springhill, Lee Holden (Ann) of Nashville, Everlean Steele of Texarkana, Janice Strickland (Billy) of Texarkana and Ann Holden of Midland, Texas.; and his brother-in-law Silas Noble Sr. of California.
