With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Downs (Ashdown, Arkansas), who passed away on November 13, 2018 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Martha Downs. He is survived by: his wife Mary Furlow Downs of Ashdown, Arkansas; his children, Johnny Downs of Maud, Mark Downs, Judi Downs of New Boston, Texas and Nedra Ashton; his son-in-law Thomas Ashton of Houston, Texas; and his stepson Robby (Sherry Watson) of Fouke, Arkansas. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; thirty three great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren and a number of other relatives.
