With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hoyt Johnson of Ashdown, Arkansas, born in Piggott, Arkansas, who passed away on October 26, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Johnson and Mildred Johnson; his siblings, Lou Tyhanic, Bob Johnson and John Johnson; and his great grandchild Taytum Berry.

He is survived by: his wife Joann McMahon Johnson of Ashdown, Arkansas; his son Bruce; his daughter-in-law Kimber Johnson of Ashdown, Arkansas; his daughters, Jana (Larry Berry) and Tempa (Gerald Middleton); his brother Bill; his sisters-in-law, Louann Johnson of Gower, Missouri and Merida Johnson of Texarkana, Texas; and his grandchildren, Ryan Berry, Layne Berry (Haley), Bryce Berry (Ashley), Taylor Berry (Kourtnee), Jett Johnson, Reagan Johnson, Lindsay Pillow (Kline), Madison Siefert (Gary), MaCall Anderson (Austin), Fallan Wilkens (Matt), Brett Bond and Baylee Day. He is also survived by twenty-one great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
