She is survived by: her son Cliff Avant (Grace); her brothers, Lavon McBroom and Jimmy Brodnax (Elaine); her grandchildren, Lara McKaskle and Kala Gates; and her great grandchildren, Tait McKaskle, Skylar McKaskle, Kinsly Gates and Jace Gates. She is also survived by her grandkids and was mother hen to all of the extended family.
