He was predeceased by: his parents, N. P. McElhannon and Ruby McElhannon; his brother Gordon "Poochie" McElhannon (JoAnn McElhannon); his daughter Janet Lynn Wrinkle; and his great grandchildren, Betsy Ball and Meredith Ball.
He is survived by: his daughter Jeri (Jack Easterling) of Hope; his son-in-law Terry Wrinkle of Ashdown; his stepchildren, Janet Fondren (Ed), Ed Leathers (Paula) and David Leathers; his grandson Jonathan Easterling (Tasha); his stepchildren, Julie Ball, Tommy Wrinkle (Camille), Jeff Wrinkle (Katelyn) and Jeremy Wrinkle (Kristen); and his great grandchildren, Parker, Emma, Caroline, Eli, Ben, Abigail, Aubrey, Addison, Baylor, Maddox, Tinslee, Ellie, Oaklynn, Duncan, Mac and Ava.
