With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gene Granvil Lewis of Ashdown, Arkansas, born in Longview, Texas, who passed away on December 3, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ralph Eugene Lewis and Katherine Bates Lewis; his brother Alan Bates Lewis; his wife Mary Frances Sample Lewis; his son Gene; his daughter-in-law Jill Lewis of Denver, Colorado; his daughters, Kathy (Ali Rashidi), Cindy Morris of Ashdown and Jenny (Iain Gillott); his brother Daniel; and his sister-in-law Jenny Lewis of College Station, Texas. He was also cherished by ten grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
