He was predeceased by: his brother Lucian A. Whipple, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Harriett Whipple; his children, Fielding D. Whipple, Jr. (Katie) and Ann Whipple Taylor of Gray; his siblings, Bennett Whipple (Nona) of Big Canoe and Anne Murphey of Macon; and his grandchildren, Griffin Whipple, Charlie Whipple, Jackson Taylor and Josie Taylor. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
