It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernestine Sanders of Ashdown, Arkansas, born in Delhi, Louisiana, who passed away on August 24, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Seymour and Agnes Griffin; her stepfather James Griffin; her daughter Laura Marie Gwin; her brother Calvin Seymour; and her close friend Mary Jane Houck.
She is survived by: her husband Darrell Sanders; her children, Donna Gwin Wells (Kent) and Michael Gwin (Lynsey); her siblings, Martha Marie Wright (Carl) of Ashdown, Willie Melvin Seymour (Theresa) of Ashdown, Rosalie Tabler (Gary) of Ben Lomand, Alvin Seymour (Laurie) of Foreman, Ruby Stevenson of Ashdown and Charlotte Rogers of Ashdown; her sister-in-law Lena Seymour of Ashdown; her grandchildren, Derek (Emily), Austin, Jack, Alex Wells of Nashville, TN, Grace (Chase) of Foreman, Nathan and Andrew Gwin of Ashdown; and her great grandchildren, Jett Boyd, Charlotte and Oliver Wells. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
