He is survived by: his wife Valrie Sweet of Ashdown, AR; his son Gary; his daughter-in-law Kathy Coker of Texarkana, Texas; his daughter Karen; his son-in-law Scott Steed of Ashdown, AR; his grandchildren, Candi Russell, Ryan McKenzie (Heather), Jacob Steed (Anna Beth), Lauren Day (Jonathan), Paisley Henderson, Natasha Christian, Kristy Campbell and Dillon Sweet; his great grandchildren, Zander, Garett, Chrissie, Grayson, Harper, Charleigh, Brooks and Knox; his sisters, Donna Smith and Uvonne Welch; and his caregiver Ariel.
