He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Ruth; and his son John Calvin Bowles. He is survived by: his children, Charles W. Bowles of Ashdown, AR and Peggy R. of Mineral Springs, AR; his son-in-law Jimmy Fincher of Mineral Springs, AR; and his sister Shirley Dove of Texarkana, TX. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a number of other relatives.
