She was predeceased by: her parents, Rabbie Brinkley and Annie Mae Brinkley; her husband Charles Leathers; and her brother Rabbie Lane Brinkley. She is survived by: her children, Janet Fondren (Ed), Charles "Ed" Leathers (Paula) and David Leathers; her siblings, James Brinkley, Etta Whitworth, Edith Cox and Gail Knight; and her grandchildren, Shannon Leathers, Dawn Russ, Alisha Fondren, Justin Leathers, Taylor Fondren, Lindsey Noack and Luke Leathers. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces & nephews.
