She was predeceased by: her parents, Julian Prosser Garrett and Nellie Bridges Garrett; her son Walter James Harris, Jr; and her sister Carolyn Howell Hendrix. She is survived by: her spouse Walter James Harris, Sr. of Milledgeville; her children, Marianne Reynolds (Tony) of Milledgeville, Margretta Giles (Mark) of Sandersville and Miles Harris of Garden Dale, AL; her sisters, Frances Butts and Michelle Hendrix; and her grandchildren, Steven Reynolds (Shannon), Kyle Reynolds, Cody Giles Ashley Harris (Anna), Christina Harris, Michael Harris, Misty Durden (Tolley) and Kayleigh Peacock. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
