He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Baney and Dolly Baney (Ferguson); his children, William Baney and Elizabeth Clements; his wife Katherine Faye Baney (Plunkett); his children, James Alvin of Thayer, Jessie of Ash Flat, Deloris McElya (Kevin) of Ash Flat and Dayla of Cherokee Village, Arkansas; and his siblings, Charles, Francis Roberts and Mildred Wood. He was also cherished by 21 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.
