She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Watts and Johnie Emma Watts (Pearce); her husband James Southerland; and her son-in-law Rodney J. Cotham. She is survived by: her children, Jim Southerland (Miriam) of Nashville, Joel Southerland (Mittie) of Paducah, Kentucky and Rita Cotham of Ash Flat; her brother Richard Watts (Jewel) of Temple, Texas; her grandchildren, Jef Cotham, Kiki Crider (John), Susan Fouche (Steve), Liz White (Matt), Rachel Reid (Josh) and Harper Coulter (Nathan); and her great grandchildren, Nick, Ellie, William, Emmett and Elijah.
