He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Dewey and Harriet Estelle Dewey (Huber); and his brother John. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Kelley J. Weitkemper (Paul) of Pflugerville, Texas and James E. Dewey (Chris) of Sterling, Illinois; and his granddaughter Morgan. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
