He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. Roe and Nettie Roe (Jones); his former wife Priscilla Ann Roe (Andrews); and his brothers, James W. Roe (Jean) and Bill E. Roe.
He is survived by: his spouse Jerry Lynn Roe; his sons, Gary Roe of Tyler, Texas, Lynn Roe (Michelle) of Issaquah, Washington, Nick Coyle (Michelle) of Cabot, Arkansas and Toby Coyle (Jessica) of Bentonville, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Andrew Roe, Rebecca Roe-Jones, John Jones Jr., Madison Roe, Skylar Roe, Destiny Coyle, Nicholas Coyle, Vincent Minervine and Noah Coyle; his brother Wayne Roe (Leda); and his sister-in-law Nina Roe. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital or to the Wounded Warriors Project.
