He is survived by: his wife Lynn Hoover of Ash Flat, Arkansas; his children, James Harvey (Robin) of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, Lita Hoover of Chicago, Carla Hoover of Evanston, Stephanie Hoover of Chicago, Christina Equitz of Chicago and Samantha Phillips (David) of Cherokee Village, Arkansas; his sisters, Nellie Dwyer of Cabot and Rita Faye Talbert of Warner Robins, Georgia; and his grandchildren, Zachary, Victoria, Savannah, Lily, Amber, David II, Kennedi, Elijah, Keegan and Graicen. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
