We are sad to announce that on August 22, 2024, at the age of 71, Virginia Ann Charles (Arkadelphia, Arkansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Henrietta Stitt, Ladonna Gail Williams and Earnest "Pokey" Giles (Bobby Joe Charles). She is survived by: her sons, Quincy Charles (Luis) of St. Louis, MO and Aaron Charles of Gurdon, AR; her grandson Aaron Charles, Jr. of Jacksonville, AR; her siblings, James Giles (Monica), Phillip Giles (Vinita), Gearlene Killingsworth (Tex) of Arkadelphia, AR, Carolyn Crow (Marshall Watson) of Hot Springs, AR and Amy Giles of Gurdon, AR.; and her uncles, James Lee Giles and Augusta Giles (Bobbie) of Lansing. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, step-children, cousins, and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 30th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home (1517 Caddo St, Arkadelphia, AR 71923). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 30th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, August 31st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mt. Canaan Baptist Church (504 S 5th St, Gurdon, AR 71743).
