He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Nix and Ida Gardner Nix; his wife Carol Russell Nix; and his brother Johnny Nix. He is survived by: his daughters, Jeanette Turner (David) of Arkadelphia and Belinda Nix of Conway; his close friend Linda Nix of Arkadelphia; his sisters, Frances Cross of Camden, Doris Grissom of Camden and Carolyn Harcrow of Mt Ida; his grandson Jess Turner of Arkadelphia; and his great grandchild Ashton Turner of Arkadelphia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
