She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Hines and Leta Crose Hines; her husband Bill Smart; her siblings, Claire Bauckus and Bill Ham; her daughter-in-law Linda Smart; her granddaughters, Amanda Smart and Sara Hough; and her grandson-in-law John Hough.
She is survived by: her sons, Bill Smart (Debbie) of Lewistown, MT and Mike Smart of Dalles, OR; and her brother Jim Hines of Grants Pass, OR. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
