He was predeceased by: his parents, Bessie Lawson and Marvin Lawson; his brothers, Wilbur and Noel Lawson; and his wife Nancy Rice Lawson.
He is survived by: his sons, Arnie Lawson (Renee) and Alan Lawson (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Elizabeth (Logan Gott), Alexandra (Geoff Schoeffel) and John (Brooklyn Lawson); and his siblings, Larry (Nikki Lawson) and Vivian (Gerald Hogue). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, The family asks that donations be made to the Marvin & Bessie Lawson Endowment fund at the University Of Arkansas.
