With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha Sue Smith of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, born in Gurdon, Arkansas, who passed away on January 28, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Copeland and Georgia Mae Williams Copeland; her husband Dwayne Smith; and her nephew Steve Bledsoe. She is survived by: her children, Gary Randall Smith (Welda) of Bauxite, Velinda Wells (Jeff) of Arkadelphia and Cathy Sue McPeak of Hooks, TX; her sister Maxine Bledsoe (Lewis) of Arkadelphia; and her grandchildren, Natasha McPeak, Kelvin McPeak (Jessica), Colby Wells (Terri), Nathan Wells (Kortney), Kyle Smith and Sunny Scott (Jazz). She is also survived by eight great grandchildren and several nephews.
