With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Larry Douglas Patterson Sr. of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 7, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George D. Patterson and Betty Joyce Rhynes Patterson; his great grandchild Mia Leigh McWhirter; and his daughters-in-law, Deanna Lane Dunkelgod Patterson and Tonya R. Gentry Patterson.
He is survived by: his wife Millie Wallace Patterson of Arkadelphia; his children, Larry D. Patterson, Jr. of Arkadelphia, Betty L. McWhirter (James) of Hampton and Tammy S. Sims (Buddy) of Arkadelphia; his brother Kenneth W. Patterson (Anna) of Beaumont, TX; and his grandchildren, J. C. McWhirter, Dustin Sims (Cheyenne), Destinee Williams (Mason) and Chris McWhirter (Christa). He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
