She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Mitchell and Inez Warren Mitchell; her siblings, Roy Mitchell and Nina Warren; and her granddaughter BreeAnnah Berry.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Burnside of Arkadelphia; her children, Jimmy Burnside (Melia) of Arkadelphia, Julie Burnside of Arkadelphia, Janie Drew (Robert) of Arkadelphia, Jessica Reid of West Memphis and Jillian Johnston (Tim) of Searcy; and her brother Donald Mitchell (Lisa) of Jonesboro. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Welch Funeral Home (202 S 4th St, Arkadelphia, AR 71923).
