She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Howell and Esther Howell; her children, James Christopher Burns and Christi Lynn Burns; and her siblings, Louis Howell, Mary Dixon and Vera Arnold.
She is survived by: her husband James'Jim'Edward Burns; her daughter Sherry Shuler (John) of Arkadelphia; her sisters, Wanda McMahan of Friendship, Gracie Bunn of Arkadelphia and Amanda Deaton of Butterfield; her granddaughter Carrie Chambers (Charlie) of Mt. Ida; and her great grandchild Carter Chambers.
