He was predeceased by: his parents, James Pendergist and Syble Pendergist; and his wife Polly Ann Pendergist. He is survived by: his sons, John Pendergist Jr., Jason Pendergist and James Pendergist; his sister Barbara Tucker; and his half-brother James Pendergist. He is also survived by three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
