We are sad to announce that on August 9, 2024 we had to say goodbye to James Edgar Jester of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, born in Curtis, Arkansas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fines Jester and Erma Story Jester; and his siblings, Wilburn, Allmon, Clinton, Clarence Jester, Lucille Purifoy, Retha Wells, Geraldine Francis, LaVonne Crossley and Bennie Sue Batchelder.

He is survived by: his children, Karen Jones (Jim) of Arkadelphia, Keith Jester (Rhonda) of Gurdon and Kenneth Jester (Zach) of Arkadelphia; his sister Freda Vanlandingham (Wallace) of Little Rock; his close friend William Noblitt of Cohutta, GA; and his grandchildren, Ryan Norman (Holly), Taylor Norman (Kurt), Kara Hurst (Shay), Jake Jones (Samantha), Hannah Lopez (Blake), Ashley Jester, Gracie Welch (Boe) and Cody Jester. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
