We are sad to announce that on March 17, 2024, at the age of 97, George Mertens (Arkadelphia, Arkansas), born in Devalls Bluff, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his significant other Nora Sue Mertens; and his siblings, Hugh Joseph Mertens (Buddy), Mary Ellen Lloyd and Dixie Bowers. He is survived by: his children, Tommy Mertens (Karen) and Jo Beth Mertens (Bill Page); his grandchildren, Dillion Mertens (Lauren) and Noah Page; and his brother Donnie Mertens (Linda). He is also survived by three nieces, one nephew and many cousins.
