It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Harrison of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, who passed away on October 19, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Rev. J. S. Newburn; and her siblings, Henry L. Newburn, Albert Newburn, Cleveland Maurice Newburn, Rev. Franklin Newburn, Willie A. Newburn, Carl E. Newburn, J. V. Newburn (James Sylvester Newburn), Carola Wilson and Flossie Morgan.
She is survived by: her sibling S. Newburn Gospel Singers; her children, Haja Newburn (Jacqueline), Felix Newburn (Phyllis) and Shunn Harrison; her grandchildren, Tecoy Jones, Fallon Newburn, Ashley Newburn, Shundra Harrison and Shunn Harrison; her great grandchildren, Lauren, Raylon and Trayden; her siblings, Rev. Douglas P. Newburn (Linda) and Maureen Owens of Arkadelphia; her sister-in-law Brenda Newburn of Malvern; and her sister Dorothy Smith Luster. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives.
