She is survived by: her husband Roosevelt Thomas; her siblings, Kathy Gipson Bullock and James Gipson; her children, Mary Davis of Arkadelphia, Ruby Moody (Vernon) of Arkadelphia, Darrel Simpson (Lesa) of Arkadelphia, Gary Thomas of Hot Springs and Jacqueline Newburn (Haja) of Arkadelphia; her siblings, Eligah Gipson (Patsy) of Rockford, IL, Versie Allen (Aaron) of Arkadelphia, Bessie Williams (Josh) of Rockford, Mildred McCall (Jerome Smith) of Rockford, Shirley Thrower of Rockford, Charline Newell (Phillip) of Oakland, CA and Bobbie Walker of Sparkman, AR; and her sister-in-law Maggie Thomas. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren.
Together they laid a solid foundation for family life based on love, commitment, and Christian values.
