He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Evelyn Morgan Kauffman; his son Kelley Morgan Kauffman; and his brother James Richard Kauffman. He is survived by: his children, Charles "Chuck" Kauffman, Kristy Kauffman of Arkadelphia, Tim Kauffman (Betty Eckhart) of Arkadelphia and Luke Kauffman (Christy) of Hot Springs; and his brother Paul Ward Kauffman of Houston. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
