With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anna (Annie) Laura Johnston of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, who passed away on April 23, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Anna leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Shelby Braden and Gertrude Pennington Braden; her husband Carl Edward Johnston; her daughter Carla Massy; and her sisters, Mable Neeley, Geraldine Almond and Ruth Copeland.
She is survived by: her children, Ed Johnston (Bonnie) of Arkadelphia, Linda Wright (John) of Caddo Valley and Patty Eismann of Leavenworth, KS; and her granddaughter Deanna Hughes. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
