She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennett Jewel Cogburn and Octavia Gatlin Cogburn; her husband Marlon Joe Spears; and her daughters, Theresea Rhodes and Shelia Hancock.
She is survived by: her children, Dewayne Spears of Amity, Philip Spears, Sr. of Amity, Carol Hitchens of Hot Springs, Tommy Joe Spears of Arkadelphia and Mark Spears of Hot Springs; and her siblings, Kenneth "Dankey" Cogburn of Glenwood, Granville Cogburn of Glenwood, L. D. Cogburn of Norman, Lois Wilhite of Glenwood, Doris Rhodes of Kirby and Lee Ellen Standridge of Hot Springs. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
Social distancing directives will be in place with no more than 66% total occupancy at any one time in the funeral home and avoidance of physical contact. Everyone, 10 years of age or older, must be wearing a mask or face covering at all times.
