He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmar Earl Rogers and Myrtle Marie Rogers (Kizer); and his former wife Patricia Olean Rodgers (Varner). He is survived by: his wife Sharon Pate Colton Rodgers of Shreveport, Louisiana; his children, David Eric Rodgers (Michelle Anderson) and Ella Cheryl; his son-in-law Larry Jordan; his stepsons, Timmy Colton (Angie) and Terry Colton (Angel); his daughter Lanna McRae (Rodney); his grandchildren, Dustin Rodgers, Daniel Rodgers, Kaitlyn Rodgers, Amanda Gillotti (Jordan) and Sammi Jordan; his great grandchildren, Raylan, Emma, Wyatt and Rowan Gilloti; his stepgrandchildren, Krystal, Chase, Sara and Kimberly; and his siblings, Roy Rogers, Alice Shirley and Linnie Evans.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith Family Funeral Home - Glenwood (209 N 3rd St, Glenwood, AR 71943). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
