He was predeceased by: his parents, Olen Mauldin and Viola Horn Mauldin; his wife Sue Mauldin; his son-in-law Steve Risner; and his siblings, Curtis Mauldin, Charles Mauldin, Ola Mae Mauldin, Katherine Caudell and Benita Royce.
He is survived by: his daughter Treva Risner of Amity; his grandchildren, Steven "Bud" Risner of Hot Springs, Shanny Risner of Amity and Jan Risner LaFevers of Rosboro; his sons, Greg and Dewayne Henthorn of Amity; his brother James; his sister-in-law Shirley Mauldin; and his sister Edith Wright. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
