He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Roscoe Davidson and Camellia Mae Dollar Davidson; his wife Johnnie DeLong Davidson; and his siblings, Kenneth Loyd Davidson, Glen Ray Davidson, Roxie Jo Dunn and Sheryl June Davidson.

He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia Davidson of Amity and Sandra of Amity; his son-in-law Richard Holt of Amity; his grandchildren, Kalob Woodall (Toriah), Catherine Deaton, Trenton, Samuel and Xavier Ingram; his great grandchildren, Hunter, Karson, Bow, Dixie, Sebastain and Sylvia; his brother R. W.; his sister-in-law Wanda Davidson of Amity; his sisters, Cordy Smith of Amity and Patricia of Amity; and his brother-in-law Landon Wilson of Amity. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in memory of Burt to the Friendship Cemetery Association Fund, Amity.
