With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rick Howard of Amagon, Arkansas, who passed away on February 24, 2025 at the age of 74. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Rick leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus Howard and Louise Howard (Koettel); and his brother Donald Ray Howard. He is also survived by one brother; two sisters; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews; and a lifetime of friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jackson's Newport Funeral Home (1900 Malcolm Ave, Newport, AR 72112). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Midway Church of Christ (10334 AR-14, Amagon, AR 72005).
