It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gertrude Cyrilla Vaught of Altus, Arkansas, who passed away on July 27, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Post and Sophie Post; her husband Herbert Burl Vaught; and her children, Herbert Vaught Jr. and Paula Vaught.
She is survived by: her children, Patrick (Linda Vaught) of Azle, Daniel Vaught of Altus, Joel (Kim Vaught) of Elm Springs, Christopher (Teresa Vaught) of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Kathleen (Rex Casey) of Hot Springs, Jennifer (Dennis Wright) of Ozark and Martha (Deacon Brian Lachowsky) of Altus; and her sisters, Lucille Johnson of Wichita, Hermina Falck of Oelwein and Trenna Kremers of Clarksville, Arkansas.. She is also survived by twenty four grandchildren; and thirty great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the St. Mary's Church Restoration Fund.
