We are sad to announce that on July 16, 2022, at the age of 100, Muriel Edith Phelps of Alpena, Arkansas, born in Jersey City, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Harvey Stanford and Janet Edith Stanford (Singleton); her husband Earl Phelps; her siblings, Harvey John Stanford, Harry Stanford, Robert "Bob" Stanford and Edith Bandy; her nephew Stanley Stanford; and her niece Carol Jean Patterson.
She is survived by: her daughter Ruth Ann (Kirby Eastep) of Alpena; her sister-in-law JoAnn Stanford of Compton; her grandchildren, Desiree Desjardins, Amanda Eastep Slankard, Daniel Eastep and Katrina Eastep; her great grandchildren, Cheyenne Slankard, Savannah Slankard, Shaun Slankard, Torie Desjardins, Gabriel Dyer, Reuben Eastep and Corban Eastep; and her nieces and nephews, Barbara White, Donna Sue Lippie, James Alan Stanford and Mark Stanford.
