He was predeceased by: his parents, James M. Thomas and Eva Thomas (Lindsey); his son James Kelly Thomas; and his siblings, Paul Thomas, Gladys Young, Capitola Claxton and Connie Roth.
He is survived by: his daughter Linda Brady; his granddaughters, Melissa Gafford (Ron) and Erica Brady; his great grandchildren, Tristen Farris (Lili), Carissa Farris and Emmeranne Perez; and his friend Bonnie Mclaughlin.
