He was predeceased by: his parents, Garvin Edward and Amie Pearl Sneed Maybee; and his brother J. R. Maybee. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Maybee of Alpena; his son Kavan; his daughter-in-law Nicki Maybee of Green Forest; his grandchildren, Hesten and Hadley Maybee of Green Forest; his sister Lucille; his siblings-in-law, Ronnie "Cotton" Bailey of Harrison, Brenda Auman of Harrison and Ruth Ann "Skipper" Maybee of Seymour, Missouri; his nephews, Ricky and Eddie Johnson of Alpena; and his niece Amie Frantz (Brandon). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
