He was predeceased by: his son Benjamin Dawes; and his father-in-law Benny Gonzales. He is survived by: his parents, Jerry Dawes and Shelby Campbell Dawes; his wife Jody Gonzales Dawes; his children, Nicholas, Matthew and Katie Dawes; his siblings, Randy Dawes of Almyra and Sheila Smith of Clarendon; and his mother-in-law Linda Gonzales.
