She was predeceased by: her parents, George James Hook and Winifred Mary Baker Hook; and her son Colin Read. She is survived by: her husband Darold Morrison; her children, Donna Smith (Stephen), Diane Pepe, Adrian Read (Diane) and Dallas B. Read; and her grandchildren, Sheri Hickey, Heather Faulkner, Derek Read, Dan Smith, Michele Smith, Melissa Stucky-Smith, Tammy Adkinson, Lisa Read, Phillip McIlroy, Mary McIlroy, Sharah Gerek, Anna Marie McIlroy, Jordan McIlroy, Rebekah McIlroy, Jeshanah McIlroy, Netanya Trotter and Michael McIlroy. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shaffer Funeral Home (2315 W Commercial St, Ozark, AR 72949). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (1504 W School St, Ozark, AR 72949).
