She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Gerald and Joy Lea Shores; and her brother Gerald "Jerry" Shores. She is survived by: her husband Carl Valentine of Alma; her son Zackary Valentine of Alma; her daughter-in-law Valerie Baldwin-Valentine; her daughter Savannah Valentine-Thacker of Alma; her son-in-law Evan Thacker; her brother Don Shores of Mountainburg; her sisters-in-law, Tina Shores (Dennis Shores) and Cathy Shores; her sister Cheryl Shores-Dixon of Harrison; her siblings-in-law, Boyd Dixon and Patricia Shores; and her grandson Theodore "Theo" Valentine of Alma.
