He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Tate, Sr. and Mildred Tate; his wife Peggy; and his brothers, Max and Mart Tate.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen Tate (Mindy) of Mulberry, Catherine Smith (Jeff) of Wynne and Rebecca Tate of Alma; his grandchildren, Isaac, Autumn Tate, Kyleigh, Faith, Greyson Smith, Edward, Charlotte and Millie Tate; and his brother Jim Tate.
