As Nellie departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Nellie may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Nellie leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband Earl Ray Oliver; her parents, Harvey Dewitt and Delia Dewitt (Warren); and her siblings, Anna Titsworth and William Dewitt.
She is survived by: her son Donald Ray Oliver (Angie) of Alma. She is also survived by four grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ocker Memorial Chapel (700 Jefferson St, Van Buren, AR 72956). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
She was chairman and treasurer for many years for American Cancer Society; a part of the Extension Homemakers and a member council of the River Bells of Crawford County.
