It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Sue Pierson of Alma, Arkansas, born in Bogalusa, Louisiana, who passed away on July 4, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Higginbotham and Alma Ruth Higginbotham (McNeese); her husband Ernie Pierson; her stepmother Myra Higginbotham (Jones); her daughter Teri Lynn Pierson; her brother Emmett Higginbotham; and her grandson Marshall Winn.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Cyr (Mike) of Spokane, WA, Ruth Winn of Alma and Ken Pierson (Janet) of Alma. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of unofficially adopted sons, daughters, and grandchildren.
