She was predeceased by: her father Don Richard Brown, Sr.; and her son Paul Ball. She is survived by: her husband William Bates; her sons, Jamie Miller of Ozark and Troy Ball of Alma; her siblings, Linda Sheffield of Barling and Don "Ricky" Brown, Jr. of Lavaca; and her grandchildren, Alex, Chelsea, Kenny, Lexi, Sammy, Cheyenne, Troy, Braden, Brian and Breanna. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
